Our monitoring has alerted us to a full loss of service to Manchester Transmission House. Updates to follow
Incident closed, following an extensive period of monitoring we are happy that this incident is closed and there is no heightened risk of service failure. We continue to work with our backhaul provider to mitigate further occurrences.
Following a period of monitoring, risk of further service outage has been downgraded to low. This incident remains open whilst plans are put in place to mitigate future occurrences. Updates to follow
We have spoken to our Backhaul provider. They have been unable to establish a Reason for Outage and so services remain at high risk of failure and the incident remains open. The plan is to monitor services closely through the night, this is then going to be picked up for further escalation and investigation in the morning. Our engineers remain on call throughout the evening and intense monitoring has been placed on all equipment. We will keep this incident updated with updates regarding this incident.
Services have been restored to the site. We have yet to hear from our backhaul provider on this so services remain at risk at this time. Updates to follow
Following investigations we have established the equipment in the building does have power and the issue is fibre related. We have already lodged a fault with our third-party backhaul provider for this circuit. We are awaiting updates from them in relation to this. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this outage, especially since this site has been impacted recently. We will continue to do all we can to restore services as quickly as we possible can
We are currently working to establish the route cause of the issue. Our team are in contact with the on site concierge to check power to the equipment along with our backhaul provider to check fibre to the address. Updates to follow as and when we have them.

Description Of Works:
Works are required to complete a swap out of Core Network Equipment in your local telecommunications exchange. This critical operation is essential to ensure the continued reliability, security, and optimal performance of our internet services.
Customers are advised not to reset their equipment during the window and to leave all equipment powered on. Services should be restored following completion however if they do not customers are advised to power off all InternetTY equipment at the wall for at least 2 minutes and then power it back on again and services should then be restored. If your service doesn't restore then please contact our support team for further assistance.
All impacted customers have been contacted via email.
Maintenance complete. Services have been restored and we do not expect any further outages to service. Anyone still without service is advised to contact our support team. Faults can be reported now by emailing team@internetty.uk or if you'd rather telephone or live chat this is available from 8 am. If you are experiencing issues with your landline services, customers are first advised to power off all internetTY equipment and wait at least 2 minutes before powering it back on again. Please then try your landline again and if the issues persist please do get in touch.
