All impacted customers have been contacted via email and provided with a description of the works.

Customers are advised not to reset their equipment during either window and to leave all equipment powered on. Services should restore following completion however if they do not customers are advised to power off all InternetTY equipment at the wall for at least 2 minutes and then power it back on again and services should then be restored. If your service doesn't restore then please contact our support team for further assistance.

Manchester Outage Manchester Burlington Square

Manchester Burlington Square is suffering a power issue to the communications equipment - we are investigating with the building management team

  • Faulty SFP optic identified and replaced. Services restoring

  • Our engineer is due to arrive within the next 10 minutes - Next update is expected at 18.30

  • We have dispatched our own engineers to the site. ETA 1.5 hours to assist in the fault diagnostics as previous fault code has now been varied by Openreach

  • Engineer allocated and investigating

  • Customer reference Burlington Square 1108 Care level Enhanced Care Fault description We have detected an issue with the power levels on the equipment for this service input to the Openreach equipment. Fault has been reported and await engineer allocation. Next update will be once an engineer has been allocated.
