Engineers will be completing essential Maintenance on our Network, impacting services to some of our customers in Liverpool

All impacted customers have been contacted via email and provided with a description of the works.

We advise that all equipment is left powered on and services should be restored once works have completed, if they do not then customers are advised to power off all InternetTY equipment if they have it at the wall for at least 2 minutes and then power it back on again and services should then be restored. If your service doesn't restore then please contact our support team for further assistance. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the loss of service.

We have been made aware of issues currently affecting services supplied by Virgin Media nationally. We are working to get an update from VM In reference to the outage.

  • Virgin Media confirmed a fault on a long distance amplifier between York and London.

    We are awaiting a full Reason for Outage Report,

    Services restored from 2am to 4am.

    We will monitor these services.

  • Virgin Media are advising they are aware of the issue with no ETA on restoration at this time. Our network operations team are in constant contact pushing for more information.

    Liverpool Royal Exchange Liverpool

    A maintenance window from one of our fibre providers has resulted in loss of service and has breached the timeframe. We are currently working to try and restore services as quickly as possible

  • Monitoring services

  • Services are now restoring.

  • UPDATE FROM FIBRE PROVIDER 03/05/2023 09.03 - Transmission works continue to over-run which is impacting services. Work is ongoing to restore. Additional hardware has been ordered with ETA of 9.00. 

    3rd party engineers are remotely connected to the node working on the issue.

    We have not received an update as yet to confirm hardware has arrived on site but we continue to push for this update and will provide further information as soon as we have it.

  • National fibre provider reporting faulty equipment. New equipment is due to arrive with them on-site at 9am. We will have more information shortly after 9am.
