Liverpool Falkner Place - Fibre Break

We are investigating reports of loss of service to customers in Falkner Place Liverpool. Updates to follow

  • Services have been restored and services are no longer considered at risk. Engineers have confirmed a fibre break which does indeed at this time appear linked to the previous work carried out by a contractor in the vicinity of the break. We will now work to contact the contractor in question and will arrange a fix plan in due course. Customers will be notified if any of this work requires Maintenance. We apologise profusely for any inconvenience caused. Incident Closed

  • Services have been restored to all impacted customers via an alternative method. Services are considered at risk at this time whilst we monitor service restoration

  • Our engineers have still been unable to locate the location of the damaged cabling. Engineers are now instead working to establish an alternative route to restore services to customers. Once connectivity is reestablished they will then continue working to establish the extent of the damage and begin a fix plan

  • More engineers are on route. Contractors are no longer in the area so more resources required to speed up the process of identifying the damaged cabling.

    Engineers already on site will continue to progress as quick as they can.

  • Our engineers have arrived on-site and are currently scanning the area to locate the fibre damage.

    This is an essential step in identifying the exact cause so that repairs can proceed as swiftly as possible.

    We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

  • First engineering team expected to arrive at 23:22.

    There are permitted works for a contractor in the area working in telecoms infrastructure. Plan is to locate these works and check if they have damaged cabling.

  • Investigations have identified a fibre break as the potential cause of the service disruption.

    Engineers have been dispatched to the area and are expected to arrive in approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Liverpool Liverpool - Queensland Place & Parliament Place

    We are currently receiving reports of connection issues within both Queensland Place & Parliament Place. We have detected issues with the power levels on the equipment that services these building. Building management are on their way to site to check the power supply and we expect an update in 20 minutes.

  • Services should be restored.

  • Our on-site engineers are now starting to restore services; Servies are expected to be fully restored by 21.30

  • Engineers are currently working to deliver a temporary restoration to services on-site; We are expecting an update within the next 1 hour to confirm estimated restoration times;

  • Fibre fault resolution has been estimated as no less than 24-48 hours. This is deemed as outside of any reasonable SLA so our engineers have been dispatched to the area to provide an alternative solution to restore connectivity this evening. The estimated engineer's arrival time is 40 minutes from now. Next update is expected in 2 hours.

  • The fault has been raised with Openreach and acknowledged. We are awaiting further information as to how the fault will be further investigated. An update is anticipated within 2 hours.

  • Building management have attended and confirmed that there are no visible issues with the power supply to the equipment. Now this has been verified, we will raise a fault with the Third Party Provider, Openreach. Next update expected in 30 minutes time.

    London - Telehouse North ITY2309007 - THN Core Router Upgrades Maintenance Window

    Our Networks Operations team will complete essential emergency maintenance works between 2:00 am and 6:00 am on Monday 11th March 2024.

    Works are required to swap out Core Network Equipment in our primary data centre Telehouse North. This critical operation is essential to ensure the continued reliability, security, and optimal performance of our internet services.

    Impacted Customers have been emailed

  • Our upgrade works have been completed successfully; If you are having service issues then please contact our support team using the contact-us page on our website.

  • Our engineers have replaced the new core router; Most customers' services should have been restored. Services are still At-Risk while configurations are still being updated;

  • Works commencing at 2.08am; Updates to follow shortly.

  • Preparations are complete and maintenance is set to begin on time in the early hours of the morning
