Emergency Works - Network Wide

This evening after 12am Midnight we need to conduct emergency maintenance and investigative works. This work is required on our network to investigate and resolve an on-going fault and to prevent future unplanned service outages or disruptions. Services may be impacted between 12 am and 7 am while the works take place. Customer connectivity and satisfaction is at the heart of all we do. The interruption will be kept to the possible minimum. An internal review has determined these emergency works are essential this evening and cannot be delayed.

Sincere apologies if this affects your plans or internet needs this evening.

  • Works completed circa 4am. If issues remain with your connection now please contact our Customer Services team. We continue to monitor the network very closely.

DNS Services Vast array of external sites will not load

We are aware of an error whereby internet shows connected, however when trying to load websites and services a time out or DNS error is received.

  • Emergency works took place overnight to investigate and resolve this issue. We continue to monitor very closely

  • The network is online and stable. Planned Works Required.

  • No reports of issues for a number of hours, however continuing to closely monitor. We plan to perform investigations overnight.

  • A heavily reduced volume of traffic is now affected and most services restored although some vulnerabilities still present which are being worked on

  • We are currently working with network operations to identify the route cause of the DNS fault. As soon as this is identified we will be able to re-route our traffic accordingly.

    North Lincolnshire Ulceby North Lincolnshire

Our engineers have identified a potential issue with an optical fibre port on the hardware within the local street cabinet. We have arranged for engineers to attend to swap the fault optical port between 1am and 2am on the 18/11/2021. During this time you may be without service for up to 15minutes as the optical port is swapped over. Your service should restore automatically and we request that you do not reset your equipment. We apologise for any inconvinence.

  • Our engineers have inspected the optics interface and replaced the relevant parts. This is now resolved. Anyone without connection is advised to restart their router.
