OFNL - Service outage

We are receiving a large number of reports of no internet from our OFNL Customer base. At this time, initial investigations indicate no issue in the InternetTY Network; however, we are seeing a large number of failed sessions. We are actively investigating this with updates to follow

  • Following an investigation alongside our upstream partner, we identified an intermittent instability affecting the interconnect used for OFNL services.

This caused a brief disruption for a subset of customers routed via this path. The issue has now been stabilised, and services are operating normally.

We are continuing to work with our upstream provider to monitor the link and ensure ongoing stability.

This incident is now closed; however will reopen in the event of any further service interruptions. If you have reset your router, then please contact our support team via email on team@internetty.uk, or you can call/Live chat from 8 am tomorrow morning. We apologise profusely for any inconvenience caused by this brief outage

  • Monitoring of session counts indicates that our count for our OFNL Customer base is back to expected levels. We are still investigating the reason for the outage from our end, whilst we await a response from OFNL. This incident remains open whilst this work and close monitoring continues.

  • We suspect a problem within the OFNL Network. We have not made any changes so far, but are seeing a large number of our sessions restored, although some customers remain offline at this time. We have reached out to OFNL and are awaiting a response. Updates to follow
