Core Network Routing Maintenance Window - 2309014

Engineers will be completing essential Maintenance on our Core Network, impacting the services of all customers.

Maintenance Reference: 2309014

Date - 24/08/2026 23:00 - 25/08/2026 06:00

All impacted customers have been contacted via email and provided with a description of the works.

We advise that all equipment is left powered on and services should be restored once works have completed, if they do not then customers are advised to power off all InternetTY equipment if they have it at the wall for at least 2 minutes and then power it back on again and services should then be restored. If your service doesn't restore then please contact our support team for further assistance. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the loss of service.

North Lincolnshire Partial Outage

We are investigating what appears to be a break in a fibre affecting some areas in Barton. Customers reporting red connectivity lights on routers and a 'Connected no Internet' error message on devices

  • Our team are continuing to assess the damage which has been caused by another party. Customers continue to remain online. Our team is planning for replacement fibres to replace the damaged cables. Any customers with service issues should contact our customer care team on 0333 102 0000

  • Our engineers have managed to re-route the affected fibres via an alternative route while we continue to assess the damage caused to the cable. Any customers now without service should contact our customer care team on 0333 102 0000. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

  • Our team are working to restore services as quickly as possible. Some customers should now be restored. Another update is expected shortly.

  • An alternative route has now been connected and we are now in the process of moving customers to this.

  • Damaged fibre located between Falklands Road and Millfields Barton. Attempting to move affected customers over on to an alternative route while the fibre break is assessed for severity
