OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW003

OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

London - Telehouse North Outage of Virgin Media Backhaul Services

We have been made aware of issues relating to some network issues relating to Virgin Media. Our team is now investigating this.

  • Virgin Media have confirmed this was resolved at 13:15. We have been monitoring this service throughout the day and have confirmed this has been resolved.

  • Virgin Media have made us aware of a Major Service Outage affecting services terminating in London. This has now been given a Priority 1 status. They believe the have identified the issue and we are due to receive and update at 13:30

    Liverpool Outage - Parliament Place

    We are currently aware of an issues with the Parliament Place building within Liverpool. Our engineers are currently investigating the issue at present.

  • Our engineers attended at 1:30am and completed and exchange of the equipment.

  • We believe the outage is due to a hardware related issue. Our engineers are working with building management to arrange access to resolve.
