We are closing the monitoring of this case now services were restored by the Fibre Operator.

The link damage has been identified and repaired. Traffic is now going via the repaired link and are monitoring for any performance issues before marking this issue as resolved.

Traffic has now been routed via an alternative link so service has been restored to customers. Advising customers whose service has not automatically restored to restart their router. Speeds may be impacted while the service is routed differently.

A problem has been found with the incoming fibre link from London. Engineers are now trying to locate that issue. We are re-routing traffic via an alternative link as quickly as possible to restore service for those affected.

Our team identified the issue relating to the speed issue. Our team has replaced the damaged equipment which we believe was damaged due to the recent power outages.

Additionally we have installed some new battery systems with additional surge protection which should withstand the unusual power situation in the local community.

Anyone who now remains with issues should get in touch.

Our team is currently trying to locate the source of the issue still. They have advised we may need to disrupt service to help resolve the issue. We are waiting more information back shortly.
