Full service interruption in Manchester city centre

We can confirm the service was fully operational at 1am. We are continuing to work with the supplier to understand the reasons for no prior warning and awaiting their Reason For Outage report.

Our team has managed to restore services to the affected buildings. We are continuing to work with our national fibre provider on the restoration of services via our Main Links.

We have been informed of the following works, We are working with our national fibre provider to understand the impact as no prior notice has been issued.

Activity Date 11-May-2022 21:00 to 12-May-2022 04:00 ( GMT )

Location of Maintenance: M42, Birmingham, UK

Reason: Undertaking a major diversion of fibre network due to diversionary works as a result of a scheme by National Highways around junction 6 on the M42.
