OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW003

OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

Lincolnshire Electrical Issue

We are currently aware of an outage affecting North Lincolnshire. This is due to an electrical failure; Our engineers are working to restore services as quickly as possible.

    South Ferriby , Horkstow, Saxby, Bonby and Worlaby Service Outage

    Our monitoring has indicated a full loss of service to South Ferriby , Horkstow, Saxby, Bonby and Worlaby. We are investigating the reason for this loss of service. Updates to follow

  • Incident closed. Mains power has been restored to our cabinet, and following a sufficient period of monitoring, we have detached the backup generators.

  • Update from Northern Power Grid Incident Ref: INCD-664327-A:

    Updated Restoration estimated 20:45 - 21:45

    We will continue to retain power to our cabinet for those customers unaffected by the power cut for the remainder of the power cut. Updates to follow

  • Power has been restored to the cabinet via our backup generator, meaning customers in areas that have Power but are serviced by the cabinet are now back on. We will retain power to our cabinet until the Mains supply restores

  • Northern Power Grid Incident Ref: INCD-664327-A:

    LATEST UPDATE:

    15:23 A power cut has been reported in your area.

    15:30 Our team have identified what’s caused the power cut and are working to get your power back on.

    Restoration estimated 16:30 - 17:30

  • Engineers have arrived at the cabinet and found that Mains power has been lost. A further engineer is en route ETA 5 minutes with a backup generator to bring services back online. We will then be able to restore services and run on generator until Mains power is restored. We expect service restoration in approx 10-15 minutes.

  • Engineers have been dispatched to the Cabinet to investigate the reason for the loss of service as well as validate power to the equipment. ETA 15 Minutes. Updates to follow
