Core Network Routing Maintenance Window - 2309014

Engineers will be completing essential Maintenance on our Core Network, impacting the services of all customers.

Maintenance Reference: 2309014

Date - 24/08/2026 23:00 - 25/08/2026 06:00

All impacted customers have been contacted via email and provided with a description of the works.

We advise that all equipment is left powered on and services should be restored once works have completed, if they do not then customers are advised to power off all InternetTY equipment if they have it at the wall for at least 2 minutes and then power it back on again and services should then be restored. If your service doesn't restore then please contact our support team for further assistance. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the loss of service.

Past Incidents

5th July 2025

Lincolnshire North Thoresby & Marshchapel

Our monitoring system have reported an outage in Thoresby and Marshchapel. This work is due to a backhaul provider doing unplanned maintenance. Our engineers are working on routing traffic via an alternative path to restore services.

  • Our backhaul provider has confirmed service is back up and operational. The outage was caused by 'Poor Records', which meant works that should not have affected us did. We will continue to work with them to prevent recurrences.

  • Our engineers have managed to re-route traffic on the affected links via an alternative path into another village. Services should be restored. Our team is in contact with our backhaul fibre provider to ascertain the reason for the unannounced outage.
