OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

Full Fibre Break in the footpath outside Manchester Local Crescent Building - Openreach is on site and reviewing a repair ETA at the moment to repair 2.5 hours.

  • Testing has exposed a further vulnerability, this is now being investigated and additional resources being dispatched to ensure a quickest possible identification. ETA of additional engineers is 60-75 minutes.

  • Openreach engineers remain on site and have now fixed the fibre fault. They are now working to restore services across the repaired link as soon as possible
