OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW003

OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

Liverpool Ratcliffe Building, Princeton Place

We are currently investigating partial service outage at the Ratcliffe Building. We are working with the on-team site to check power to the equipment. A further update is expected shortly.

  • Internet services have now been restored.

  • Power is now restoring to the building.

  • We have been notified that power to an area of the building is currently off due to an electrician working within this area of the building. They are unable to restore power currently for safety reasons, but do expect that power will be restored within the hour and internet services will then resume at this point.

    Liverpool Chavasse Mews, Liverpool

    Our Network Operations Team are currently investigating a partial loss of service for some residents of Chavasse Mews, Liverpool. Initial investigations have identified power failure to a piece of equipment. We are currently working alongside building management to resolve this. A further update is expected shortly.

  • Our engineer has now restored power to the equipment and services are now back online. Our Network Operations Team will continue to monitor this to ensure stability.

  • Our engineer has arrived on site and is currently completing further investigation. An update is expected shortly.

  • Our engineer is expected to arrive on site at 08:15.

  • An engineer has now been assigned and they are scheduled to attend in the morning. A further update will follow with an approximate ETA for arrival on site.

  • An engineer will be dispatched as soon as possible to investigate this on site.

  • Unfortunately our Network Operations Team have been unable to restore power to the equipment at this time.
