OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW003

OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

North Lincolnshire Barton/Barrow Power Issues.

Northern Power Grid have advised us that power has been lost to various sites within North Lincolnshire Barrow upon Humber / Barton upon Humber. Our on-call team is standing by to ensure continued service. Our network is currently operating on battery services.

  • Northern Power Grid has confirmed that power has been restored across the region. Our team was on-hand with backup generators to be deployed for sensitive sites. No external power requirements were needed on this occasion. We will be keeping our operational awareness for the near future for any re-occurrence.

    Manchester Manchester Local Crescent

    Our team have been notified of an issue relating to power in part of Manchester Local Crescent. This is affecting communicaiton equipment. Engineers are working with the on-site team to resolve this issue now.

  • The on-site team have confirmed that power has restored. We have now seen all our services return online.
