OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW005

OFNL Description of Works:

On the 4th June 2026, OFNL upgraded our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West (THW), and we swapped our Chassis in THW.  To complete this work, OFNL needs to initiate a final reboot of the equipment to bring it into service. OFNL expect this final reboot to take up to 45 minutes.

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

North Lincolnshire Mains Power Outage Telecommunications Cabinet Barton Upon Humber

We have lost mains power to a major telecommunications cabinet located in Barton Upon Humber North Lincolnshire. Services are currently being maintained by power back up and engineers have been despatched to site.

  • Engineers have now closed this incident as resolved

  • Power back up services maintained service throughout - Mains power now restored.

    North Lincolnshire Ulceby North Lincolshire - Damaged Fibre Spine Route

    A damaged fibre has been identified.

  • All services should now be resolved. If you are having connectivity issues we ask you to contact us at your earliest convenience. We are now monitoring network performance

  • Front Street, Spruce Lane, Nelthorpe Close, Brocklesby Road, Worsley Paddock Services restored

  • Reconnection works have now begun

  • A new cable has now been installed. The engineers are now connecting this cable to a joint in preparation of reconnecting customers affected one by one

  • A damaged fibre is being replaced today. This is is emergency work due to start at 12pm and expected to continue until 8pm this evening. This is to restore service to customers currently offline and also to prevent additional customers from losing service. We expect customers in the following areas to be affected by a period of downtime today Station Road, Worsley Paddock, Martins Road, Fields Way, Carr Lane, Coronation Road, Model Farm, Brocklesby Road, Nelthorpe Close, James Place, Walkers Way, Fields End, Williams Drive, Gower Close, Spruce Lane
