OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW005

OFNL Description of Works:

On the 4th June 2026, OFNL upgraded our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West (THW), and we swapped our Chassis in THW.  To complete this work, OFNL needs to initiate a final reboot of the equipment to bring it into service. OFNL expect this final reboot to take up to 45 minutes.

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

Barrow-Upon-Humber Network Line Issue

Our engineers are investigating a Line fault to our Barrow Cabinet. This is currently resulting in no internet for our Barrow customers. Engineers have been dispatched from our North Linconshire Base.

  • Openreach restored service at 13.31 this afternoon. We have been monitoring service since and everything appears restored.

  • Openreach has confirmed they have dispatched an engineer to resolve the problem. Next update 13.00

  • Our engineers have investigated and confirmed the issue is within Openreach. They have confirmed that resources are being allocated to resolve. Next update at 13:00

  • Engineers have now arrived at our Barrow Cabinet and are working with teams along the line route to identify the problem.
