OFNL Network Wide Maintenance - OFNLITYNW005

OFNL Description of Works:

On the 4th June 2026, OFNL upgraded our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West (THW), and we swapped our Chassis in THW.  To complete this work, OFNL needs to initiate a final reboot of the equipment to bring it into service. OFNL expect this final reboot to take up to 45 minutes.

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

Liverpool Copperas House

We are aware of an outage in the Copperas House building within Liverpool. The building management have been having works completed within the service area of the building. It has become apparent of damage caused to cabling on the 4th floor and above.

Replacement cabling has been ordered and engineers will visit 03/11 to restore sevices.

    Manchester DDOS

    We are aware of a DDOS attack affecting the Manchester network. We are currently routing traffic to resolve this issue.

  • Our network team have managed to re-route the affected traffic and all services are flowing as normal.

  • 28th October 2021

    North Lincolnshire Planned Software Upgrade

    Planned software upgrades are being undertaken on our core routers connecting the rural villages within North Lincolnshire. This may cause an outage of up to 30minutes while each router is restarted.

  • The planned works have now been completed.

  • Works on the upgrade have now started. Services should resume shortly.
