OFNL Description of Works:

OFNL are working to upgrade our Core Routers to provide increased capacity for ISP connections in Telehouse West. As part of this work, OFNL will be performing a change to our Core Router chassis in Telehouse West (THW).

All impacted customers have been notified by email and provided with further information in relation to the works. We will be using this incident to provide updates to our customers and ensure close monitoring of our network so that we can restore services as quickly as possible following completion of the works at their end.

North Lincolnshire Barton Partial Outage

Reports of outages in certain areas. Investigating

  • We are closing the monitoring of this case now services were restored by the Fibre Operator.

  • The link damage has been identified and repaired. Traffic is now going via the repaired link and are monitoring for any performance issues before marking this issue as resolved.

  • Traffic has now been routed via an alternative link so service has been restored to customers. Advising customers whose service has not automatically restored to restart their router. Speeds may be impacted while the service is routed differently.

  • A problem has been found with the incoming fibre link from London. Engineers are now trying to locate that issue. We are re-routing traffic via an alternative link as quickly as possible to restore service for those affected.
