Ulceby MSO Incident

We have been made aware that at 2.15 this morning infrastructure within the village of Ulceby has been involved in an incident with a motor vehicle.

Our team is currently on-site assessing how to restore service to affected customers.

We will continue to issue communication once we have assessed the plan of action. Our Major Service Outage team is now working to restore service as fast as possible.

  • Our team continue to work throughout the night to restore services to affected customers. Further damages have been found within the network which due to the nature can only be carried out during daylight hours.

We are also still running our services on a temporary generator as Northern Powergrid have been unable to restore power this evening.

As now over 90% of our customer connections have been restored we are downgrading this to a partial outage.

  • Works have now begun and you will experience intermittent connectivity during this time.

  • We have decided to delay works until 5pm to avoid affecting working from home hours as much as we can in this current climate. However you may experience intermittent connection into this evening while we move equipment from the damaged cabinet as we will have to disable the temporary power supply while we do this.

  • Connectivity has now been restored to the cabinet and there is currently a temporary power supply in place. We do however need to move the equipment over to a new cabinet and we will let you know when this can occur.
